Tim is ultimately responsible for defining Core5’s vision, strategy, and organizational structure. His role also includes leading capital-raising efforts for future real estate funds and nurturing key relationships with institutional investors.
A long-standing leader within Core5’s parent company, Kajima, Tim—alongside CFO Linda Booker—developed the original business plan that laid the foundation for what Core5 has become. Since its inception, Tim has steered the company through multiple phases of growth, each grounded in strong values, strategic insight, and deep expertise in industrial and commercial real estate development. He maintains an active relationship with Kajima, representing their industrial interests.
BACKGROUND
Tim began his career at MetLife after completing graduate school. Over the years, he built a distinguished track record in the industrial real estate sector through leadership roles at several prominent global firms. In 1989, he teamed up with Greg Gregory to co-found IDI, beginning as Chief Operating Officer and later advancing to President and CEO of the Kajima-owned company.
Widely respected within the industry, Tim has been repeatedly recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle on its “Who’s Who” list and was named one of the top three executives in industrial real estate by Commercial Property News. He is also a graduate of Leadership Atlanta, the country’s oldest and most prestigious community leadership development program.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry Resources from the University of Georgia and an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE
Beyond industrial real estate, Tim has a unique passion and pastime: farm breeding and caring for horses and mules from birth through maturity. In particular, he raises draft horses—strong breeds developed for heavy labor like plowing fields or pulling wagons.
