Linda Booker

President and Chief Financial Officer

Corporate

DAY-TO-DAY

Linda leads Core5 by overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial communications to shareholders, investment partners, lenders, and employees. She manages all finance functions, ensuring that development projects are funded with the best lending sources available, maximizing returns on investment.

BACKGROUND

Linda’s career began in public accounting at KPMG, where she discovered her passion for commercial real estate. During her time at IDI, Core5’s predecessor, she was promoted to CFO, leading her team through the 2008 financial crisis as both a borrower and a real estate developer. Her client-first approach during that challenging time helped solidify the company’s stellar reputation and built lasting relationships that remain strong today.

Her leadership has earned her widespread recognition:
• Named “CFO of the Year” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle
• Recognized as a “Woman of Influence” by RE Forum (twice)
• Selected as one of Atlanta Woman magazine’s “20 Women on the Way”
• Honored as one of Women We Admire’s “Top Women Leaders” for 2023

Linda earned a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Mississippi.

Linda’s UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE

“When Greg Gregory, former IDI president, referred to me as a Steel Magnolia, I was honored by the reference. I feel a strong sense of responsibility for the success of all employees and truly love watching staff take steps to expand their career horizons. Helping others achieve success makes me a better leader.”

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE

During her downtime, Linda and her husband enjoy traveling and experiencing other cultures, lake boating, and spending time with family and friends. She is also an avid reader and loves to cook.

A dedicated community volunteer, Linda serves as:

  • Treasurer on the board of directors for 3Keys, an organization providing permanent supportive housing for homeless individuals with mental illness
