DAY-TO-DAY
Mitchell leads Core5’s marketing and leasing efforts for speculative buildings and build-to-suit projects in the Southeastern U.S. His oversight includes the procurement and management of third-party broker and property management relationships. Additionally, Mitchell is involved in business development and capital deployment through land acquisition, entitlement, and the development of Class A logistics facilities in the region.
BACKGROUND
Prior to joining Core5, Mitchell served as a Director in the Atlanta office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. In this role he focused on disposition and capitalization of industrial assets and portfolios across the Southeast. Mitchell and his regional team completed an aggregate transactional value of $8.2 billion, totaling over 80.8 million square feet since 2021. Prior to joining JLL in 2018, Mitchell was an Associate at Stan Johnson Company’s Corporate Finance group, focusing on industrial and office sale-leaseback transactions with corporate owners and private equity sponsors. Mitchell earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Georgia.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE
When Mitchell isn’t strategizing the next Core5 development deal, you might find him playing golf, traveling with his wife, or spending time in the backyard with their 11-year-old Australian Shepherd. He’s also committed to giving back, volunteering with Trees Atlanta, the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and Habitat for Humanity.
