DAY-TO-DAY
As Vice President and Regional Director at Core5 Industrial Partners, John oversees all market activities in Texas while also assisting with marketing and leasing efforts in Pennsylvania. A pivotal figure in Core5’s Dallas office launch in 2017, he leads marketing, leasing, and property management oversight for his markets, including the procurement and management of third-party broker and property management relationships. Additionally, John plays a key role in identifying growth opportunities in Texas and managing the disposition of facilities within these markets.
BACKGROUND
With 35 years of experience in commercial real estate, John has built a robust network of industry relationships throughout his career in the industrial sector. Before joining Core5, he was a managing partner of industrial leasing at NAI Robert Lynn, where he led the expansion and management of the Dallas industrial listings for institutional clients. Prior to that, John spent 19 years at IDI Logistics (formerly IDI), where he played a key role in the development, leasing, and sale of Texas Class A portfolios.
John holds a BBS in Finance from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa.

“Within the first few months of one of my first commercial real estate positions, a cold call resulted in securing a 130,000 SF build-to-suit project in North Fort Worth. Despite being new to the industry, and enduring the excessive July heat in Grand Prairie, TX, I was determined to prove my work ethic. After the deal closed, I asked the client why he had selected me to represent them. He told me it was my work ethic. That validated my convictions: ‘Live so that when your children think of fairness, caring, and integrity, they think of you.”
OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE
John is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He has held numerous volunteer roles and board positions at Prince of Peace Catholic Community and Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas. When he’s not focused on real estate or volunteering, John enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and fly fishing in Colorado.
